DTI is contracted directly by many architects to provide the solar photovoltaic system design for large commercial and institutional projects. We recently completed the solar design for a 23 kW grid-tie solar system for the new UVA Science Building Addition, and a 2 kW totally off-grid solar system to power the new Observatory, both on their Wise Virginia Campus. The Science Building pv system consists of 120 solar modules at 185 watts each and 7 inverters.
